A beautifully made white Rioja produced in a fabulous vintage where the climate was perfect for growing juicy ripe fruit. Light biscuit characters intermingle with hints of cinnamon and forward grapefruit flavours creating a mouth watering wine with a long and elegant finish. -
Cono Sur Gewürztraminer 2010, Bio-Bio Valley
This wine comes from the Bio Bio Valley, one of the most southerly of Chile's wine producing regions. The soil and climate in this area are unique in Chile, and ideal for Gewürztraminer. This is a fresh, floral wine with an exotic nose of aromatic, lychee and marzipan fruit. The palate is long, citrussy and well balanced.
