Château de Gaudou Cuvée Renaissance 2007/2008, Cahors
The vineyards of Château de Gaudou cover 86 acres in the Lot Valley of the Cahors. Malbec selected from 25 year old vines, is matured in oak for 18 months to create this top cuvée. Wonderfully concentrated, spicy and aromatic wine. Black cherry fruit on the palate, full bodied with silky tannins. Perfect with roast beef or peppered steak.
